My 2018 in review

Short story: it was an awesome crazy edge-of-your-seat year for me.

Long story: this year I was able to accomplish a lot of things I told myself that I’m going to accomplish. Maybe not all, but maybe I was at least halfway there. Some of them I did not tell myself I’m going to accomplish, I just kind of did.

So yeah, here’s a quick rundown of what happened in my 2018.

Australia: more than just Sydney

“Did you know that everything in Australia will try to kill you?”

That’s what my buddy told me when I told him I’m moving to Australia a couple of years back. In case you have been living under a rock for most of your life, the world (or at least in The Interweebz) has this perception about Australia being filled with the nastiest, scariest, and deadliest creatures. Well, yeah for the most part, it actually is. But other than that, when someone says “Australia”, all they could think about are two things: Sydney and The Opera House.

It is every weekend warrior’s dream to jump from an airplane.┬áIt is the epitome of adrenaline, thrill, and one big life achievement. Skydiving┬áis, without a doubt, in every adventurer’s bucket list. If you’re a thrill-seeker, I’m pretty sure this one’s on your list too.
