In February 2011, my siblings and I reached the summit of the country’s highest peak, Mt. Apo. It was a four-day trek going up and down the mountain and during those times, the bond that I had with my brother and sister grew stronger. It was definitely a bucket list item and the sense of adventure I felt back then made me appreciate nature even more. Since then, I knew trekking or mountaineering would be something I would love and, if ever given the chance, I would definitely do again.Leave a Comment

Imagine a place where the mountains meet the sea; a place where the water is as calm as a baby (well, except when there’s poop in its diapers) and as clear as a crystal, and; a place where the sun sets in a perfect dark orange color across the horizon and when you look up at the sky at night, you can clearly see the stars shining down on you.
Now, imagine waking up to this scenery every morning. Every. Single. Day. Wouldn’t that be paradise? Of course it would.Leave a Comment
A year ago I was working for a British-owned company that has an office in Cebu. At that same time, I was working as a home-based programmer for an Australian company. I would wake up at 6 o’clock in the morning and work until 2 o’clock in the afternoon for the Australian company. After that, I would have my lunch, shower, and get ready for my 4pm – 1am work in the office of the British one. At one point in 2014 I even had three jobs. The third one is for an American company based in Utah and I would work from 2am to 4am. I was a senior web developer for all three companies.
It was plenty of cash, but it wasn’t fun.Leave a Comment
Wow. It’s been almost two and a half months since my last post and this blog is almost dying. It’s not that I don’t have anything to post but it’s just that I’ve been reaaaaally lazy lately. Whew.
Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let me share our most recent adventure.2 Comments
